What is NERALVO Halo?
Halo is a compact voice recorder for meetings, lectures, calls, interviews, ideas and important conversations where recording is lawful and appropriate.
Can Halo record without a phone?
Yes. Halo can save audio directly to its built-in 64GB storage. Supported Halo hardware can also connect directly to the NERALVO mobile app for NERALVO-supported Bluetooth and recording workflows.
Does the NERALVO mobile app require DOWAY?
No. The NERALVO mobile app is a standalone NERALVO service. DOWAY is not required to create a NERALVO account or use NERALVO-supported recording, playback, transcription, notes, AI or supported Halo Bluetooth features.
What if my Halo purchase includes DOWAY Max?
Eligible Halo purchases may include a separate one-year DOWAY Max hardware bonus from activation. DOWAY is an optional third-party service with its own terms, privacy practices and availability. It is separate from the NERALVO mobile app.
What does the NERALVO app do?
Depending on your plan, platform, device and release version, NERALVO can provide recording, playback, transcription, summaries, notes, Ask NERALVO, organisation, privacy controls, account export, usage information, in-app purchases and supported Halo Bluetooth functions.
Do I need a paid plan?
No. NERALVO includes an Included tier. Paid plans and one-off add-ons can provide additional usage or features when available. The App Store shows the current price and renewal terms before any iOS purchase.
What are AI Credits and Flex minutes?
Where offered, AI Credits are one-off consumable credits for eligible AI actions and Flex minutes are one-off additional transcription minutes. They do not auto-renew. Subscription entitlements and purchased credits are verified by NERALVO's server before being applied to your account.
Are AI transcripts, summaries and answers always accurate?
No. Accuracy can vary with audio quality, accents, specialist language, overlapping speech and background noise. Check important names, figures, commitments, legal points and action items against the original recording before relying on them.
Can recordings stay local?
Supported recordings can remain local depending on the privacy setting and action you choose. Stopping a local recording does not by itself require an automatic cloud upload. Cloud or AI features may require the content needed for that feature to be securely sent for processing.
How long does Halo's battery last?
Halo supports up to 35 hours of recording per charge under stated operating conditions. Actual results can vary with use and environment.
What is included in the Halo box?
Halo 64GB recorder, magnetic charging cable, magnetic phone ring, USB-C adapter and documentation.
Can I record any conversation?
No. Recording and data-protection rules depend on the location, context and people involved. You are responsible for obtaining consent where required and for using, storing and sharing recordings lawfully. Workplace, legal, medical or confidential recordings may need additional approval or safeguards.
How do I manage or cancel an iOS subscription?
Apple App Store subscriptions are managed through Apple. Deleting a NERALVO account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription.
Can I export or delete my NERALVO account?
The mobile app includes account export and in-app account deletion. Account deletion is separate from cancelling a store subscription. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for details.
How does NERALVO research its guides?
The NERALVO Editorial Team prioritises official product documentation, regulators, government guidance and original research. NERALVO sells Halo, so comparisons involving Halo include a commercial interest. Read the NERALVO Editorial Policy for the full sourcing, review and corrections process.

Is delivery free?
Yes. Standard delivery is free worldwide and tracked where available. Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed.
How long is delivery?
UK delivery is usually 5–8 business days after dispatch. International estimates vary by destination and courier route.
Can I return Halo?
Yes. Halo has a 30-day return window, subject to the Return and Refund Policy.
How do I contact support?
Email support@neralvo.com. For mobile-app issues, include your iPhone model, iOS version and NERALVO app version where possible. Do not send passwords, API keys, full payment credentials or sensitive recording content unless support specifically provides an approved route.
