What exactly is Halo?

Halo is a wearable AI voice recorder. Clip it to your lapel, drop it in your pocket, or set it on a desk. It captures conversations, lectures, meetings and ideas to its built-in 64 GB storage. Recordings sync to the DOWAY companion app for transcripts, summaries and search.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 35 hours of continuous recording on a single charge. Recharges via the included USB-C cable.

How accurate are the transcripts?

Transcription is handled inside the DOWAY companion app. Accuracy depends on environment, speaker clarity and language — quieter rooms produce cleaner transcripts than noisy ones. We don't publish a single accuracy number because real-world conditions vary.

Where does my data go?

Audio is stored on the device until you sync it to the DOWAY companion app on your phone. Once in DOWAY, your recordings, transcripts and account are handled under DOWAY's terms and privacy policy. NERALVO (Shopify store) only holds your order data — name, address, email, payment confirmation. We never sell your personal data.

Is it legal to record conversations?

Recording laws vary by country and state. In many places you must inform the other party. Halo is a tool — you're responsible for using it within your local laws.

Does it work without my phone?

Yes. Halo records standalone to its 64 GB onboard storage and syncs to the DOWAY app when your phone is nearby.

What's in the box?

Halo device (64 GB), USB-C charging cable, slim magnetic mount, quick-start card, and a 1-year DOWAY Premium AI App membership (iOS & Android).

Is there a subscription?

Your Halo includes 1 year of DOWAY Premium AI App included. After year one you can continue on a paid Premium plan or remain on DOWAY's free tier. Your device stays yours either way.

Which AI models power Halo?

Transcription and summaries are produced inside the DOWAY companion app. The specific AI models used are managed by DOWAY and may change over time. We don't make claims about specific third-party models being "built in" to the device — Halo is a hardware recorder.

How long does shipping take?

Can I return it?

Yes — you have 30 days from delivery to return Halo for a refund. Return it complete, undamaged and with its original accessories and packaging. Halo may be reasonably inspected and tested on return.

Is there a warranty?

Halo carries a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
