Bluetooth and app interruptions can affect transfer, control or audio routing even when the recorder captures locally. The solution is a stable pre-meeting configuration and a tested recovery routine.
Remove competing connections
Before important use, disconnect unnecessary earbuds, car systems, speakers and other devices that may claim the phone’s audio or Bluetooth connection.
Check phone conditions
- Sufficient battery and free storage.
- Required Bluetooth and app permissions.
- Battery-saving settings tested.
- Notifications and incoming calls managed appropriately.
- App updated and signed into the approved account.
Know what works without the app
Confirm whether local capture continues if the phone screen locks, the app closes or Bluetooth drops. Test rather than assume.
Use a stability test
Run a recording longer than the typical meeting while locking the screen, receiving a harmless notification and briefly moving the phone out of range. Verify source audio and later sync.
How NERALVO Halo fits
NERALVO Halo records locally and syncs with DOWAY through Bluetooth. Test capture continuity and sync recovery separately.
After an interruption
Preserve the local file, note the time and avoid deleting or resetting the recorder. Confirm whether capture, transfer or processing failed before taking action.
A stable recording workflow minimises unnecessary wireless complexity and proves its behaviour under the same interruptions users will face in real work.
